November 7-9, 15th Annual Sheltowee Art Fair, 75+ of the finest eastern and southern Kentucky artists join together to display and sell their work at The Center for Rural Development, S. Hwy 27, Somerset. From baskets, pottery, and quilts, to contemporary furniture, jewelry and musical instruments. "Fall Drive in the Gorge" Located in the Red River Gorge. Offered as an 11x14 and 16x20 print. About the Photographer Roger Potts was born in Madison County, Kentucky and grew up near Berea. As a child and also an adult he has always had an appreciation of the rural beauty of Kentucky. He considers the old barns, churches, and rural landscapes of Kentucky to be similar to what the ruins and castles are to Ireland, a look at an earlier time and for many a glimpse into the world of our families just a short time ago. He has been inspired by his wife Judy, a native of Wolfe County in the eastern mountains of Kentucky, and of course God’s presence in all we see. His Cards and Prints can be found at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea and numerous gift shops in Kentucky. Roger is an exhibiting member of a juried artisan group, the Sheltowee Artisans. He and Judy do several shows each year. Be sure and check our events.
